My editorial department at Sportsnet was looking to spotlight challenges around mental health while building brand awareness, showing the audience that it was capable of providing coverage beyond sporting events and games.

The Solution

Craft a deeply-researched and reported 4,300-word feature that marries sports with mental health challenges. I visited the Canadian Centre for Mental Health and Sport to tell the story of its successful work.
